Veterans do not have to be injured or have a deployment to apply. All veterans that served honorably are eligible to apply, no matter what era they served (Vietnam, Korea, Desert Storm, Desert Shield, OEF, OIF). Honorably discharged veterans, retirees or Reservists and National Guard that are currently serving can apply for a home through the Permanent Homes for Veterans program. They have provided more than 700 families saving them over $8 million on rent and utilities.Graduated from the program since 2012. Operation Homefront's Transitional Housing Programs have truly changed lives. We're more excited than ever to give more families an opportunity to be present with one another and enjoy every moment this holiday season. Over the last four years, our partnership has enabled Operation Homefront to purchase five homes, allowing us to provide rent-free housing to multiple families in such a critical time of transition. Whether it's holiday traditions or everyday moments, we're committed to finding solutions that fill this need.
